Divisions
IIBRe was established in Jamaica in 1996 to provide local insurers and large corporate clients with access to the global reinsurance market when, local capacity was insufficient, local treaties were restrictive, large clients wanted greater flexibility in their insurance programmes and cover was otherwise unavailable in the local market. In 2004 we opened our second IIBRe office, this time in Barbados, where we have fast developed a reputation for innovative reinsurance broking.
