Binder Underwriting Facility (BUF)
The Binder Underwriting Facility (BUF), is a special department which has been established within IIBRe to manage a delegated authority facility for certain Lloyd's underwriters. Under the Delegated Authority Agreement, IIBRe is authorized to underwrite and settle claims for General Third Party Liability and Directors and Officers Liability Insurance. The unit is staffed by a highly experienced and qualified team of underwriters and claims professionals.
