CCRP Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan

In partnership with the Caribbean Community of Retired Persons(CCRP), Gallagher Insurance brokers Jamaica Limited brings to the market a comprehensive health and life insurance plan solely for seniors 50 years and older. The CCRP Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan provides competitive health insurance for members of CCRP with the option to add a life insurance product.The plan is specially designed to provide all CCRP members and their eligible dependent(s) with access to a wide range of medical insurance benefits that would otherwise be very costly for many members to purchase on an individual basis.

Eligibility Requirements

One must be a member of the CCRP and between 50 to 80 years of age.
New members just joining the CCRP at age 50 will be allowed to enroll on the group health plan without proof of insurability if done within the first three months of their attaining the age of 50.
The plan renews on December 1 but new members who have satisfied the eligibility requirements and medical underwriting can join on March 1 and June 1 each year.
Coverage will continue as long as this plan is in effect and premiums are paid on time.Premiums are paid quarterly, semi-annually or annually and are due one month in advance of effective date / next payment due date.

The plan is available to Residents of Jamaica only.

Group Health Coverage

Health coverage under the plan includes:

Doctor’s visits
Prescription drugs
In hospital expenses
Surgical benefits
Consultants fees

Lab and Diagnostic fees
Dental and Optical
Pre-existing conditions but subject to 6 months waiting period
Major medical limit renewed annually

Group Life Coverage

CCRP Members are also offered life insurance coverage of $500,000 per person for an additional premium.
